Funerals,
Celebration of Life,

Living Funerals

Funerals, Celebration of Life

Arranging a funeral or celebration of life can feel overwhelming, especially during a time of grief and loss. You want a ceremony that truly reflects your loved one’s personality, values, and the life they lived. I’m here to support you in creating a meaningful and respectful farewell that honours their memory in the way they deserve.

To ensure you feel at ease, we’ll start with a relaxed telephone conversation, no pressure or commitment, so you can decide if I’m the right celebrant for you and your family. If you decide I am the celebrant for you, I’ll meet with you to guide you through every element of the ceremony. Together, we’ll explore readings, music, tributes, and rituals that feel right for your loved one.

I will then craft a bespoke, heartfelt script that reflects their life and spirit, and you will have the opportunity to review and shape it, ensuring it truly represents your wishes and theirs.

You are not alone in this, I'm here to help you create a farewell that brings comfort, meaning, and peace.

The cost of a funeral service is between £250 - £300 dependent on the length of service.

End of Life, Living Funeral Ceremonies

Not every farewell has to wait until someone is gone.

A Living Funeral or End of Life Celebration is a very special way to gather the people who matter most and celebrate a life while that person is still here to be part of it. It gives family and friends the opportunity to say the things that often go unsaid - thank you, I love you, I’m proud of you - and it allows the person at the centre to hear every word.

These ceremonies can be incredibly emotional, but they are also uplifting, honest and often filled with warmth and even laughter.

A Celebration in Your Own Words

As with all my ceremonies, nothing is “off the shelf.”
I will spend time with you, listening carefully to your story, your memories, your values and what feels important. Together we will shape a celebration that truly reflects you — your personality, your humour, your achievements, the moments that defined you and the legacy you wish to leave.
Some people want something gentle and reflective.
Some want it light-hearted and full of stories.
Some want a real celebration with music, memories and joy.
There is no right or wrong — only what feels right for you.

What Could Be Included?

Your ceremony might include:
Your life story, told in a warm and personal way
Tributes from family and friends
Special music that holds meaning
A symbolic moment such as candle lighting or shared reflections
Your own words, wishes or messages to loved ones
It can take place wherever feels most comfortable — at home, in a garden, in a care setting, or in a meaningful venue of your choice.
A Gentle, Supportive Approach
I understand that conversations around end of life can feel daunting. I approach them with care, sensitivity and respect. My role is to guide you gently, remove any stress, and create a space where everyone feels safe, supported and heard.
Time together at the end of life is precious. Choosing to celebrate someone while they are still here can be one of the most powerful gifts you give to one another.

If you would like a confidential, no-pressure conversation about arranging a Living Funeral or End of Life Celebration, I would be honoured to help.
